We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join a well-integrated team. This Consultant Urological Surgeon post is based at the Freeman Hospital with spoke commitments in Northumbria, and will be available from 1st  September 2021.

Opportunities are available to develop a sub-speciality service if these fit with the needs of the department. The appointee will join a group of 22 Consultant Urologists based at the Freeman Hospital providing services to Tyneside, Gateshead and Northumberland on a Hub and Spoke model.

A substantive post will be appointed at a later date. 

In addition to the challenges of the role, we can offer you a commitment to teaching, education, research and audit.

Candidates for the post must be registered medical practitioners and on, or eligible to join, the Specialist Register within six months of the date of the Appointments Committee.
