An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and organised individual to join the Radiology team as an Assistant Directorate Manager. To succeed in the role, you must have a flexible approach along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to lead a team and be able to meet tight deadlines with consistency and rigour.
Radiology operates a wide scope of Imaging, Interventional and Nuclear Medicine services across the Trust’s main sites, in addition to community facilities and Regional Breast Screening services. The successful candidate will play an integral part in the Breast units operation and management, as the post holder will undertake the role of Breast screening programme manager. This will include working closely with and being accountable to the Trusts Director of Breast Screening along with external members of Public Health England and NHS Improvement teams.
Integration with the clinical teams is vital and you will work closely with the Clinical Leads across the Directorate to ensure optimum service delivery. You will be an integral member of the Directorates Senior Management Team, providing support and sharing learning with peers across Radiology. Working closely with the Directorate and Radiology Service Manager, you will ensure delivery of key performance indicators, national targets, and finance for your areas of responsibility.
